The 30-year-old forward shrugged off a forgettable 2/6 field shooting in the first two quarters went on to finish with an impressive 10/17 in shooting for his 24 points, 19 of them coming in the second half.

Kozlov also pulled down 14 rebounds, in the process returning the first double-double of the event.

Vyacheslav Denisov had 19 points, 17 of them coming in the second half.

Lao Fu In came up with a consolatory game-high 21 points for Macau, who are playing their first FIBA Asia event in the senior action after a 25-year-gap.
